SSR Publisher Author Guidelines (with Scopus Requirements)

1. Manuscript Submission

  • Language: Only English-language papers are accepted.
  • Submission Platform: Submit your manuscript through our online submission system.
  • File Format: Manuscripts must be in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) or LaTeX format.
  • Page Format: Manuscripts should be formatted as A4-sized Microsoft Word documents with 1-inch margins on all four sides. Use a single-column layout with Times New Roman (font size 12). Manuscripts must be no longer than 30 printed pages. Extra page fees apply for manuscripts exceeding this limit.

2. Scopus Indexing Compliance

To ensure that your manuscript meets Scopus indexing requirements, adhere to the following:

  • Originality: The manuscript must represent original research, with clear contributions to the field.
  • Abstract & Keywords: Ensure the abstract is concise (no more than 300 words) and includes 4-7 keywords that accurately reflect the content for proper indexing.
  • Citations: Use recent and relevant literature in your citations to meet Scopus standards. The references section must include papers from reputable, indexed journals, demonstrating the manuscript’s engagement with current research.
  • Ethics: Ethical standards must be met in terms of data collection, handling, and reporting.

3. Manuscript Structure

Your manuscript should follow this structure, aligned with Scopus indexing standards:

  • Title: The title should be a succinct sentence that clearly represents the study. Titles should avoid abbreviations and jargon.
  • Author Information: Include the full names, affiliations, email addresses, and phone numbers of all authors. Designate the corresponding author.
  • Abstract: Write an abstract of no more than 300 words, providing a clear and concise summary. Include 4-7 keywords for indexing purposes. Keywords should focus on technical and relevant terms.
  • Introduction: Provide a concise introduction that clearly defines the problem and the study’s contribution.
  • Materials and Methods: This section must clearly outline the procedures, tools, and methods used, allowing reproducibility.
  • Results and Discussion: Authors may combine or separate these sections. Present results clearly and discuss their implications, relating them to existing literature.
  • Recognition: Acknowledge grants, funding sources, or other support received.
  • References: Use APA style and ensure citations are in chronological order of appearance in the text. Citations in the text should be placed in brackets, using the format (Rahul, 2018) for single-author works or (Rahul et al., 2018) for multiple authors. Ensure references include current, Scopus-indexed sources for better indexing.

4. Figures and Tables

  • Figures and Tables: Insert figures and tables where they are discussed in the text. Number them sequentially. Each should have a caption that is clear and concise. Figures should be high-quality (minimum 300 dpi).
  • Formatting: Ensure that tables and values are consistently formatted throughout the manuscript. One space should be used between lines in tables and references.

5. Originality and Plagiarism

  • Original Work: Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere.
  • Plagiarism: SSR Publisher uses plagiarism detection tools. Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism will be rejected immediately. Self-plagiarism is also prohibited.

6. Ethical Standards

  • Authorship: All listed authors must have contributed significantly to the manuscript.
  • Conflicts of Interest: Disclose any conflicts of interest during submission.
  • Research Ethics: If your research involves human or animal subjects, ensure you have followed ethical guidelines and received institutional approvals.

7. Peer Review Process

  • SSR Publisher follows a double-blind peer review process, which is compliant with Scopus indexing requirements. Both the reviewers’ and authors’ identities remain anonymous.
  • Reviewers assess the manuscript’s originality, significance, research quality, clarity, and adherence to standards. The review process takes 4-6 weeks.

8. Revisions and Resubmission

  • If revisions are requested, authors are expected to respond thoroughly to reviewers’ comments and make revisions within the specified timeframe. A point-by-point response to each comment is required.

9. Proofreading and Publication

  • Prior to publication, proofs will be sent to the corresponding author. It is crucial that the proofs are reviewed thoroughly for any errors before returning them to the editorial office.
  • Once approved, the manuscript will be published promptly.

10. Publication Fees

  • If your paper is accepted for publication, publication fees will be applicable to cover peer review, editorial work, and open access hosting. Fees will also apply for any extra pages beyond the 30-page limit.
  • Fee waivers or discounts may be available for authors from developing countries or those with financial constraints.
