This study comprehensively examines the influential roles of guest ministers and artists in fostering church growth in Nigeria, a nation with a rapidly evolving religious landscape. Using a qualitative and thematic approach this paper explores the multifaceted impact these individuals have on various aspects of church life, including worship experiences, membership influx, and overall development. The findings indicate that guest ministers who bring diverse theological perspectives and spiritual gifts significantly enhance worship experiences, often revitalizing congregational engagement and deepening spiritual connections. Simultaneously, guest artists vary from musicians to visual artists, contributing to the aesthetic and emotional dimensions of worship, thereby attracting new members and invigorating existing ones. This collaboration between spiritual and artistic elements not only promotes church growth but also solidifies community bonds among congregants. However, the study also addresses potential excesses associated with the increasing reliance on guest ministers and artists, such as commercialization and the dilution of local church identities. As churches navigate these complexities, understanding the values and relevance of guest contributions becomes essential in sustaining healthy spiritual growth. Overall, this research provides insights into the dynamics of church growth in Nigeria, highlighting the critical balance between effective outreach and maintaining authentic worship experiences.
