Almajiri Education and the Matrix of Entereprenueral Skills for Economic Recovery and Sustainable Development

In the midst of national unemployment challenges and the ever changing world of today, one common character outlook of Almajiri is his engagement into crafts/petty trade of his choice for self-reliant. Almajiri education has been an important tool for the achievement of rapid and sustainable growth and development through innovative entrepreneurial skills development. Yet, Almajiri education places high premium on entrepreneurial development as a successful key factor in the drive to ensure self-reliant among the Almajiris during and after the scholarship towards the attainment of national economic development. This paper discusses among others: the definition of the concepts, Almajiri education, Almajiri education and entrepreneurship, innovative and entrepreneurial skills needed for economic recovery Almajiri education entrepreneurial skills as a tool for achieving sustainable development. It offers as part of the suggestions, that introduction of modern practical entrepreneurial curriculum into Almajiri education system for the adults Almajiri shall empower them more practical knowledge and wisdom that make them to have more skill to better themselves and their community instead of begging.
